I'M Erik Chan. A 25 YO Web Developer

I am a professional full stack software engineer that dabbles in Machine Learning and Deep Learning with a passion for developing user centric applications.

I am currently the Lead Machine Learning Engineer and Staff Software Engineer at Breaking Hits. I am responsible for developing systems that support our machine learning models. I also develop neural networks for feature extraction / classification for our recommendation system and generative AI to replicate music artists.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Minor in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside.

Despite my degree, I have always been interested in the field of Computer Science and have been learning to code since I was 14. During the midst of the pandemic, I decided to take my passion for coding to the next level by enrolling in multiple full-stack web development bootcamps and obtaining a minor in Computer Science.
